On the 24th of June 2022 at Talent Garden in via Calabiana, Istituto Secoli’s students returned to walk the runway in the “Secoli Fashion Show”, now in its 39th edition. It showcased the collections of 40 students inspired by the concept SENSE, intended as the act of "aesthetic perception" through the intepretation of the image within its creative storytelling. SENSE is a deep questioning of the concept of aestethics, envisioned as sensation and intuition, beauty and perception, with the objective to reach an experience of interior and sensory satisfaction that leads to the "beauty of feeling". SENSE translates into constructing AESTHETIC ENVIRONMENTS, each defined by its own personality and attitude.
These were the six collections walking the runway inspired by the concept SENSE:
- STASIS (WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION)
- DYNAMISM (MENSWEAR/WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION IN COLLABORATION WITH PROJECT OFFICINA CREATIVA)
- EQUILIBRIUM (WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION IN COLLABORATION WITH ASAHI KASEI FIBERS ITALIA)
- INTENSITY (WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION IN COLLABORATION WITH ASAHI KASEI FIBERS ITALIA E LECTRA)
- AUTHENTICITY (WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION IN COLLABORATION WITH ELEMENTI MODA)
- SIMBOLIC (WOMENSWEAR COLLECTION IN COLLABORATION WITH MACPI).
As usual the event started with the Designer to Watch, the school’s biggest talents that this year were: Alex Bellucci with the collection “Ricordi non ricordi”; Chiara Zappa with the collection “Contenuti Emozionali”; Jacopo Montanari with the collection “Name_Error”; finally Raffaella Mastrangelo with the collection “Faux Real”.
